Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Westway Kennels & Daycare relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
The term ‘Westway Kennels & Daycare’, ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 13 Pedders Lane, Blackpool FY4 3HX. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

Terms and Conditions of Boarding
  • Your pet can only be accepted for boarding if it is good health and you are able to produce a Cerificate or Vaccination card confirming your pet's inoculations are up to date, No dog can be accepted for boarding unless it has been inoculated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvo Virus or has a valid titre test certificate covering the period of their stay. No cat can be accepted for boarding unless it has been inoculated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu.
  • Whilst every possible attention is given to each pet boarded with us, it is boarded entirely at the owners' risk, as are pets sharing accommodation. Should we feel the need to separate them in the interest of the animal's own safety, a relevant charge for the extra accommodations will be levied.
  • Any current ongoing problems with a pet's health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse any pet that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament, or sick at the start of boarding.
  • Should it be necessary at our discretion for a vet to be called for any health condition existing prior to boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner. All pets should have been wormed and de-flead recently. Should any pet on arrival require treatment for internal or external parasites (fleas, worms etc.) then a charge will be levied for this.
  • Fees are charged at a daily rate, inclusive of the arrival & departure day. Should an animal be collected before the booked departure date a fee will be charged. Payment is required in full upon collection.
  • If applicable please note all pets boarded are insured whilst in our care, excluding fees or death in connection with any condition that existed prior to boarding, or the cost of cremation. Westway Boarding Kennels & Cattery reserve the right to dispose of animals not collected within 14 days of the stated departure date if no communication from the owner, or the owners agent is received and if efforts to contact the owner fail.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry of any pet looking unwell.
  • Whilst every care will be given to your pet during it's stay they are booked entirely at your own risk.
  • Should it be necessary to call a vet during your pets' stay any veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner of the pet. We will always endeavour to use your normal vet practice should that not be possible we will use our local surgery.
  • ABANDONED ANIMALS: If any animals are not collected within 14 days of the due date of departure and there has been no efforts of contact from the owner or their agent and if efforts to contact the owners fail, then the pet(s) become the property of the proprietor
