We are a small family run business situated close to Blackpool Airport and Armfield Academy within easy reach of the M55. Our location enables easy access for local people and visitors alike.
We only board 25 dogs at anyone time and this enables us to spend more time and care for your furry friend.
We are passionate about the care that we offer to dogs and you! A warm, welcoming, clean, and enjoyable environment is what we strive to provide for your treasured dogs.
We appreciate every dog has individual needs. To help achieve those needs, we believe open communication is the key to offering a customised service. Hopefully, this provides you with peace of mind.

Hello my name is Catherine and I am the proud owner of Westway Kennels & Daycare in Blackpool. I began working here as a kennel maid for the previous owners until I left to start my own successful business as a dog walker & dog behaviorist.
I have two diplomas in dog behaviour:
  • Level 3 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma
  • Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma
Our reputation has been built on trust and transparency and we aim to build on this with our new clients and your continued recommendations.

We couldn’t be happier with the care Cooper received at these kennels. From the moment i picked him up, I could see such a positive change in him. Catherine has just cared for my puppy this week like he was her own, settled his seperation anxiety, and reset his routine and behaviour. I’m excited to continue her good work, and after bringing him home today the difference in him is amazing. He didn’t want to leave and will miss Catherine and his furry new friends 🐶

I wouldn't send my pooch anywhere else for daycare or overnight stays. She is very timid and Catherine knows exactly how to handle her and which dogs she can interact with. Best place for my ESS.

As a licenced pet boarding establishment all pets must be fully vaccinated and kept up to date with their annual boosters. A complete and valid vaccination record card from your veterinary surgeon is required on your pets arrival to Westway Kennels & Daycare. It is necessary that all dogs are vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Leptospirosis. If you have any queries regarding vaccinations please speak with your veterinary surgeon. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BRING YOUR PETS' VACCINATION CERTIFICATE WHEN CHECKING THEM IN FOR THEIR STAY
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A BOARDING CONTRACT ON ARRIVAL AT WESTWAY.
